5* Exceptional cottage, extremely well appointed with everything you might oneed. Wonderful views over rural landscape and the fells. Private setting away from public gaze but the owners are on hand should you need them - most helpful with their wide ranging local knowledge and were easily available for any queries. Good location for hiking out of the door with access to public footpaths. very generous welcome pack - much appreciated after long journey- and importantly we knew a few days before what it would contain - very comprehensive arrival information provided about a week prior to our visit. 5* - Lovely, lovely, lovely. We have just returned from a week in Meadow Cottage. It lived up to our high expectations and I particularly loved having a full sized fridge/freezer. The setting and location are wonderful and Roger and Lesley couldn't have been kinder. Longridge has great local facilities and offers easy access to the wider area. We ate out daily and The Parker Arms, The Glasshouse and Atkinson in Morecombe Bay were all worth a special mention. We look forward to returning

5* - Meadow Cottage is in a fabulous location with breath-taking views. The cottage has all the amenities you need and a lot more. Meadow Cottage was immaculately presented and clean. Your hosts, Roger and Lesley are really helpful and friendly. They provided us with lots of valuable information about the local area and were easily contactable if we had a query or request. We have already booked a return visit. Lots of local walking paths. The Derby Arms does a fabulous Sunday Lunch. Short drive to wonderful Inn at Whitewell. Local Indian takeaway, Spice is great and there are two micro pubs in Longridge that are worth a visit. Booth supermarket is quite close by

Just spent the most amazing long weekend Meadow Cottage at Hill Top Farm Beautiful property in an absolute stunning location, super cosy and secure. Great walks and mountain biking nearby with a perfect set up to get back to. Never have we stayed somewhere with a view like that for a morning coffee!! Thank you to Roger and Lesley for being lovely hosts and for leaving birthday treats! Thanks to this site for helping us find somewhere so wonderful!
