We had been recommended Carpet Co. by family members who had a good experience themselves. Sadly we were rather disappointed by the service. On our first visit to the shop the salesperson seemed a little disinterested but in the end they became more helpful and talked us through the different carpets and their measuring/fitting service. The person measuring had not received any instructions on what to measure from the company. They did not measure one of the rooms we wanted them to measure but we didn't realise this until we visited the shop again. When we visited the shop again the same salesperson seemed rather abrasive and honestly rather rude. They seemed completely disinterested and didn't seem at all bothered that their colleague hadn't measured all the rooms. It came across that they wouldn't really care if we bought carpet from them or not... so we didn't! We have been to another carpet company closer to York that already seems far more helpful and friendly.
