        Very friendly, cook spotted us and asked if we wanted food as the kitchen would soon be closing. We both opted for sandwiches, priced at less than 10, served with chips and salad, we were very impressed by the portion sizes. Two cask ales on, both in great condition. Would definitely recommend.

        Made a beeline to this place as heard so much about it. Well wasnt disappointment. Lovely calm atmosphere , friendly but attentive service and food and drink were lovely. A lovely Sunday afternoon spent here and noticeably regular clientele known to staff as they were well looked after too. Very happy to return.
