My local Hatfield post office wouldn't help with a vehicle tax issue I had and simply dismissed it refusing to help. I went to this branch early, it opens at 7.30am! A young lad took around 1 minute to sort it . I couldn't believe the difference in service. I would travel to this post office again. Excellent service.

Up until a few weeks ago I had nothing but good things to say about this branch. I have been in here many times and always had good polite service. I'd asked the manager if I could have my parcels delivered to the post office as I can't get them at home and rather than just assume I asked first. He said "yes of course no problem". I went in to collect my parcel and an older woman approached and said in a very derogatory manner that I'd had another delivery on Saturday and it had been refused by them and she didn't know where it had now ended up. And then went on to say that I couldn't do it! I looked at her absolutely embarrassed and feeling totally humiliated, I felt an inch tall..... I said that I'd asked if could get parcels sent there. She then said nobody has permission! So on top of everything she was insinuating Im a liar. What had I really done that was bad enough to warrant that reaction? Great job lady for making me feel like something on the bottom of your shoe! My mistake I was under the impression that I was in a POST office! If you have a demeanor like that then you really shouldn't work with the public.
