A walk on public footpaths during lockdown which was a real pleasure to be so near the main house and grounds, alongside the Axe. An exciting part for me was seeing the quarry as closely as the footpath takes you. Lots of mature trees to ponder over and recognise without their leaves. We then added the Jubilee walk, which was interesting too. A smashing afternoon, glad I was in wellies as the horse field was boggy.
