Friendliest small village shop award should go to this community run shop served by lovely local volunteers. Some fesh produce available and hot food available once a week served on the premises. Free WiFi. Beer/wine, all reasonably priced.

A vibrant local village owned and run shop and cafe. Lovely people, informal atmosphere, all the basics and many of the luxuries. Saturday morning baps are well worth sampling! Small outdoor seating area, where dogs are welcome, in the sun for most of the day. A thriving local shop that all villages would give their eye teeth to have.

Arrived at the shop a few minutes after the scheduled closing time but helpful staff nevertheless supplied two excellent flat whites and a delicious piece of homemade cake....whilst waiting for them we browsed the shelves and found an excellent selection of locally sourced products.....a really nice shop/cafe which is open seven days a week

Classic village store, well stocked with an incredible range of product. Staff are all volunteers and keen to give good service. Not quite Champs Elysees but better, nice coffee served indoors or on the charming veranda-on-the-street watching typical country village life happening. Fantastic cream teas or full cooked breakfast!! Oh yes and food for the guinea pig . Lovely, why not try it.
