Star Legal Incorporating Sims Cook & Teague

Sims Cook & Teague were brilliant, but since being taken over by Star they are awful. Poor communication & showed no interest in my elderly mum's house sale.

This is the second attempt to purchase the property through Star Legal. On the first attempt I felt I was put in a position to withdraw my offer because of the abysmal work done by Star Legal. Due to long reply times, emails being sent to incorrect email addresses, an avoidance of responsibility and a staggering lack of progress that I can only think shows the complete lack of competency or interest to sell the property, I had a completely lost faith that the transaction would compete, or that the seller wanted the transaction to complete. I simply could not comprehend how a seller could possibly be satisfied with the level of service Star Legal offered. I am now attempting to buy the property for a second time. I requested that the seller did not use your company again. I have nothing good to say about the work done by Star Legal and would actively recommend others to be very wary about buying a house that Star Legal is conveyancing. Again, I am having nothing but delayed communication, a lack of action and a denial that emails have been received. Avoid.
