Fabulous firm. Rodney and his team recently did some retanking work in our Victorian house.They were efficient, communicated well, worked conscientiously and confidently, tidied and cleared up and didnt make a fuss. The guys were pleasant to have around. Importantly they were good value for money and Rodney didn't charge to do initial visit to assess and quote. We were very pleased to have found them.

Rodney and his team have done a great job at our victorian terrace in Lawrence Hill. From quoting to completion there was great communication all the time. They were a friendly bunch and very tidy and considerate. We had the front and back of our house stripped back and rendered which looks great and also will mean we are hopefully waterproof now! This has been done to a high standard and completed in good time. As well as the rendering there were some extra works such as removing a garden wall, fencing, roof repairs and guttering/pipework. The prices given for the extra work we had done whilst they were here anyway were very reasonable and done to a high standard. I recommend RJ Coatings very highly to anyone. Thanks lads!

RJ Coatings have completed a first rate job rendering the front of our house after water was coming in, and fixing a leaking roof in Clifton, Bristol. The solution that Rodney came up with was the least disruptive, it avoided hacking off the render, instead using a system of mesh onto the existing render and applying sand and cement, with a tyrolean painted finish. The finish is neat and crisp, especially around the edges where the render meets the bathstone and sash windows. They also applied lead flashing to various edges to further water proof the finish and were always reviewing their work and kept me up to date with progress. They were on time, courteous and considerate about the impact of the works to neighbours and cleaned up the mess upon completion. They produced a quote in August, started work in September and were finished a month afterwards. I would wholeheartedly recommend using RJ Coatings for rendering, roofing and plastering jobs.
