Forda Farm Bed & Breakfast

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Forda Farm B+B is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle . On arrival you are greeted with a scrumptious cream tea. The food is excellent and there is an extensive choice for a wide variety of taste. Val does all the cooking and baking herself. This is the perfect retreat and I thoroughly recommend it. We arrived late after a nightmare trip en route to Cornwall having been delayed by an accident which closed the M5 in both directions so that diversions were queued down one track lanes! No problem, Val welcomed us and couldnt have been more helpful. Instead of going to a pub for supper as intended we brought in food from a local shop and Val gave us the cream teas for desert. Very clean and comfortable, good nights sleep followed by a full English breakfast after which Angus showed us around the farm buildings and Lindas day was made to see new born lambs. If you are looking for a truly peaceful location where the sound of cars are replaced by wind, birds in the trees and a crazy owl that cannot tell the difference between night and day this is a great location. One note is to access the location there is a drive down a narrow road for a short while but it soon opens up to the charms of the farm. Val and her husband were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you kindly for the stay.
