One of the worst sunday lunches ever cold meat and veg burnt Yorkshire pudding sent it back to get warmed up came back couple minutes later still with the burnt Yorkshire pudding which was now like a rock not big or even medium portions found it expensive as were the drinks staff need to be trained in hygiene as every waiter and waitress were stroking customers dogs no apologies from waiting staff or management

An amazing Great British pub! Great food, atmosphere and absolutely well managed by a brilliant couple. Heart and soul of a tranquil, quintessential yorkshire village. A must visit if you are in the area.

First visit after spotting the pub while out on the bike. We popped in for some food and we were served with tasty, generous portions. Cant complain about anything.

Had a fab afternoon at this little gem of a place Great staff and atmosphere and the location and beer garden made it a perfect place for a catch up with friends Will definitely be back to visit again very soon
