Love this place , had such a peaceful stay perfect to re-charge & forget about the outside world for a couple of nights , the Shepherds Hut was immaculate and cosy especially once the log burner was going. A mid morning dip in the chilly swimming pond was the perfect start to the day and by night in the hot-tub with a (plastic of course ) glass of bubbles looking up at the stars ! Amanda and her team couldnt do enough and her breakfast in the spa was just what was needed after chilly swim . Im definalty coming back .

So peaceful and pretty, the hut had everything we could need. The fire pit was so cosy and the bath outside was lush, did not want to get out! It was our first night away together and we loved it, it was perfect! We ordered the breakfast hamper which was all in the fridge ready for us and it was lovely. We can't wait to book again for a winter getaway. Would definitely recommend to anyone. EDIT- We went for my partners birthday in June last year and as it was 30 heat that day it made the stay unbearable. The shephards hut was obviously too hot which is no fault of the owners but it was just full of bugs so I would not recommend going in the summer as it completely ruins the stay! Also, all of the trees were in need of a good cutback all overgrown and the outdoor furniture in that hut and the previous ones all need updating/fixing as they are tired and looking shabby or broken. Was a bit of a let down really for the price. I think also breakfast could be included for the price as everything is extra so it does add up.
