        Probably the best optician in the world! The staff in Thirsk are professional and efficient, but also very kind and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

        Had a problem with my eye and needed to see an optician quite urgently. My own optician was unable to fit me in, so I popped into Cooper & Barr in Thirsk. Lucy, the extremely helpful receptionist, booked me in for the following morning and the optician, Nicola, gave me thorough check and put my mind at rest. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

        Amazing place. Wish I lived local so I could use as my routine opticians. Went in with a few screws loose and looking to buy a screwdriver to tighten them. The lady tightened my glasses screws for me free of charge. Lovely store with a good selection and friendly staff
