Moved to the area from Essex last year where the two kids had trained at Checkmat Essex under my friend and coach from my time training years back Spencer. We tried one club in Bury (no need to mention names) which after a few weeks it became apparent that this was somewhere I would not want my child to be coached or continue their jiu jitsu journey. Following this we bought them along here to train with Lee. They settled in from the very first class and absolutely love going every week. Lees way of dealing with the children is second to none. They look up to him which is important in martial arts or any sport and Im just happy we was able to find such a good club with such a good atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing the progress they make over the coming years.

I trained here for several years prior to relocating away from the area. As someone who makes a living in the combat sports field, I can say without a doubt that Lee Doski is one of the best communicators of the sport I have ever met. Anyone looking for an avenue for self improvement in either a personal, self defense or sporting context will be able to find it in abundance at Carlson Gracie Norfolk. I genuinely cannot speak highly enough about the training environment at this gym and I would encourage anyone interesting in the sport to visit.

Ive just started taking the Wednesday night classes in Wisbech, as a beginner I cant recommend them enough. Its a rare opportunity to train and be taught by a top level coach out in the countryside. The team is friendly and full of mixed abilities, everyones welcome.
