        I have accompanied my wife to many gardens, but the snowdrops at Thenford are stunning. The number of different varieties simply boggles the mind. At the same time, walking around the gardens in February is a relaxing experience because the snowdrops are laid out so simply and naturally. Finally, must add a big thumbs up for the spanking new teahouse with its fabulous homemade cake. I had the cherry & coconut cake which was scrummy: moist and delicious. Restrooms: Clean and new (as of Feb 2023).

        Excellent arboretum, majestic trees, stocked borders and great walled garden. Also has water features and hot houses. A 'Kew' in Oxfordshire.
