ANOTHER MISSED COLLECTION FOR OUR WHOLE STREET FROM BIFFA WASTE. DREADFUL BUT DONT HAVE A SAY AS LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON HAVE OUTSOURCED THE SERVICE TO THEM AND DONT APPEAR TO BD DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE LACK OF SERVICE. IT APPEARS THAT BIFFA ARE RUNNING THE SHOW RATHER THAN THE COUNCIL ENDURING THEY MEET THEIR CONTRACT AGREEMENT. I live in Hackbridge, Wallington, Surrey which is managed by the London Borough of Sutton. On Saturday, 20 January 2018 we were due to get the general waste, recycling, food and garden waste collected. We actually pay an annual fee to the council for the garden waste. I called the London Borough of Sutton, holding on the line for 15 minutes(!), to be advised by the call handler the customer service office was closed even though it was during the opening hours listed on their website. Whilst holding it also mentions its quicker to use Report It on their website. I thought I would try this option only to put my address in snd find out theres no selection option to report a missed collection so couldnt even do that. I decided to call back to report it which will likely go into the ether with all the other complaints that dont appear to be handled, just stockpiled with no further action. This is not the first time our whole road has had a missed waste collection. Its s complete shambles!!! I hope they dont renew the contract.

Absolutely terrible, I have sent emails to Sutton council to get some information about the crossings at Hackbridge,still waiting for a reply 2-3 months later. I joined Sutton council contact site. site worked once then refused to sign me in even after changing password still no entry to site. My view on Sutton councils interest in it's residents is zero.
