Was searching for somewhere to have a quick burger a drink, found this place. I only pulled up in the parking lot, threw 1 can and a piece of tissue in his bin outside just as we were walking in, this grumpy old fella came storming out absolutely livid to see we had thrown a van in his bin via CCTV. Immediately started shouting and screaming at us for no reason at all and told us we couldnt come in even though it was empty. I feel very embarrassed for him I must say but I felt I needed to leave this here just in case he often acts like this, I do not believe he is a competent business owner, massive lack of respect and manners. Shame on you

Proper pub,definitely recommend

Went and feels like the locals type of pub. Asked for a soft drink but got cans as the tap was not working.. the landlord even poured one out and said "disgusting". Ordered food and my pork chop was huge, but my fiance's lasagne wasn't nice. But overall the place was dirty, tables were full of dirt, even had a lonely Dyson at the back.. don't know if it broke but the place was filthy and mayonnaise/ketchup packets were past their use by date. It looks tired, outside there are frames for pots and flowers and the table mat showed what the pub should look like... But it's far from it.. needs a lot of work
