Ditcheat Hill Farm is a beautiful and peaceful location with stunning views and plenty of sky. As a quietly working farm theres plenty to interest children and the area abounds with walks and woods to investigate. The goats were a particular hit. We were lucky to have perfect, Summer weather and the nearby trees provided shade to play and picnic under, but the location also offered a base from which to explore. We visited Bath, Glastonbury, Wells and the Mendips in addition to spending a lovely, lazy day exploring the site and chilling in the yurt. The washrooms and loos are immaculate - unsurprising given that they are brand new -as was our yurt. The special feature of Ditcheat Hill Farm is of course, the yurts; large, comfortable, private and clean, ours was impressively home from home yet away from it all. It was nice to feel secure and private, yet not isolated. I think the two yurts currently on site are the same style. Our hostess, Lizzie, made us feel very welcome and was attentive, helpful and engaging but unintrusive. A great location for a family holiday, a romantic break or just to relax and chill. We are already planning our next visit.
