It's a lovely spot for a walk, maybe a little excursion upon the lake in a rented rowing boat, treat yourself to an ice cream from the kiosk and/or head into Ellesmere town centre for a few pints. The combination of options are manifold, but whatever your eventual selection, the outcome will, no doubt, be most satisfactory.
