Didn't get to stay at property as Keith cancelled our booking. I was communicating back an forth until paid deposit then struggled to get intouch. Arranged for a visit and when we arrived the next day he'd forgot we were coming. Left feeling very disappointed as after paying the balance 6 weeks before booking date as requested got a message from Keith to cancel

This stay was a total shambles from start to finish! We booked via Home Away and received a call a week later to say the place we booked was already booked and they had to move us to another of their properties on site. We accepted as it was such short notice. We were then asked last minute to swap from Saturday - Saturday to Friday - Friday. So we made arrangements with our car hire and work to accommodate Keith's request. His request came with a promise of a meal to apologise for the late notice and mess up. We later found out that this was only a main course and when the receipt was given to Keith he commented on us eating "the best on the menu" - 2 of our party of 4 had burgers?! (this still hasn't been paid for!!) When we arrived, we were told that the place we were moved to couldn't be used as we had dogs (which we were very clear about in our booking and specifically searched for "dog friendly" accommodation). This seemed a problem and made us feel awkward when arriving with our dog! So we were now back in the original booking that was "double booked"?! We enjoyed our stay, albeit noticing the hot tub has a camera facing it and the pool table you had to pay 1 per play! Keith has left us a bad review saying we left the place a state (with terribly worded messages that aren't entirely understandable) but we can categorically say the place was left as it was when we arrived, other than slept in beds and used towels! Utterly disgusted with the whole experience and treatment from Keith. He's rude, unapologetic about his mistakes with bookings and seems to be running what can only be considered a scam. I would avoid booking at all costs!!

We had a brilliant time and the farmhouse was nice but there are few things that went wrong. We couldnt cook breakfast because the oven kept tripping out. The electrics were faulty but Keith did manage to get a replacement for the oven which was put in as soon as possible. Next we ran out of hot water but it would seem that there was not enough heated water for a family of 8 and we had to wait for the water to reheat which it eventually did the following morning. Keith who was very polite had made a mistake with our booking to begin with. He had double booked us and wanted to charge us 117 extra for his mistake but we sorted that out eventually. And then there was the problem with the dog. His ad says that up to two dogs are allowed but when it came to the time of the holiday Keith decided that dogs were not allowed because if they make a mess in the garden a child can lose its sight he asked what kind of dog we were bringing and then said that if we paid 25 per night for the dog that would be acceptable. Now part of me would like to think that Keith was a sensible caring person but he has had me fooled. He has lied about my family and has waited until we left so that he can accuse us of flouting the COVID rules to accommodate his inadequacies. If were talking about Covid, as he did, his hot tub had not been cleaned out and the scum left round the edges were there for all to see. His idea of cleaning was 3/4 tablets left to dissolve in the pool of water. He wanted us to pay extra for his mistake. He lied to Airbnb about the number of people we had to stay at his property and even worse he thought he saw an opportunity to make extra money at a time when were all struggling to get by. An individual who has trouble telling the truth but whose farmhouse was very nice. He doesnt deserve your business!!
