Plantain Kitchen

Went to Peckham levels looking a munch and came across Plantain Kitchen, my partner ordered some Puff ball things that tasted gooooood!! Being a BIG lover of oxtail, I had to try it out with some jellof rice and plantain.. yeeeeeeah!!! Deffo hit the spot!!! The waiting time was ok and the food was hot and well seasoned, however I do like to put some Encona on mine lol If you got a sweet tooth then deffo get the puff ball things!!! The only downside I found was with the bowls therere served in, they are a bit awkward when your trying to get every last big of good food out! Lol maybe look into paper bowls

My friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat before going to the cinema and decided to venture around the corner to Peckham Levels. We both went for Box 1 (Jollof rice, plantain and grilled chicken) not only were we served a good portion of rice and chicken, it was absolutely delicious. Its a great feeling trying out a new restaurant and leaving pleased with your choice! We look forward to coming back and trying other parts of the menu!

I gave this place 3 star with intentions on later changing it. My friend has really hyped this place an said it was very nice. So I decided to order. I got the bowl 1 option jollof with grilled chicken n plantain. However the plantain I can knock on the table it's sooo dry and hard. The chicken could have been nice but was wayyyy to salty. An the jollof not the greatest lacked alot of flavour. I feel today may have been a bad day for you guys an I'm willing to try again an hopefully have a better meal next time.
