THEY ARE INTO VERY HEAVY EQUIPMENT SO SOMEONE COMPLAINING TO WELD A PLANT POT SHOULD HAVE SOME REALISTIC COMMON SENSE. I USE THEM FOR ODD JOBS BUT THEY ARE THE BEST SOMEOMETIMES I HAVE TO GO FEW TIMES BUT CANT EXPECT THEM TO DO THINGS LIKE AN INDEPENDENT WELDER. SO IF U HAVE A VERY SMALL JOB DONT BE DISSAPPOINTED THEY WILL DO IT IF THEY CAN FIT IN OR THERE ARE SO MANY SMALL WELDING SHOPS U CAN GO TO RATHER THAN COMPLAINING.

Most inefficient useless company I have has the misfortune to deal with. Maybe the boss Steve being ill had something to do with it. I paid 2,200 for steel stringers for an internal stairs A simple job but.... I waited six weeks to be given the drawings after paying the deposit. They were the wrong ones ! Getting simple information which shold have been provided anyway required numerous emails which were never answered and I only got a response after constantly visiting the yard which was a waste of my time. Getting a contract took numerous requests. No emails were answered after the deposit was paid. It took nearly two months for the job to be done although the stringers only took one day to make and 4 hours to install . Even then they informed me they were not responsble for taking up the floorboards to install the supports despite me being charged for installation of a concrete base ( which was never installed as one already existed). After a discussion the took then up but did not replace them. The bolt in the wall were all out of line and impossible for me to replace. The holes in the plates for me to fit the bolts in the treads were the wrong size and I had to re drill the lot. Although promised a black coating, rather than spray in the yard they delivered the stringers with a red oxide finish and then glossed over with a rad roller on the job. All the dirt and dust was rolled in to the surface. I had to strip it all back and repaint myself. The invoce arrived within hours of the job being finish That was the only efficient action they ever took. I think the guys in the yard are actually craftsmen who are dedicated and keen to provide a good service. It is the office and those responsible for the planning and paperwork who seem to treat the job as an annoying interfererence in their social life. I will be surprised if they are still in operation in 12 months I just hope the yard workers can find other jobs before then.
