Eastern Bloc Peckham

Probably the best food in Peckham, and run by an amazing friendly team. Eastern Bloc is a must-try! Delicious and often updated menu, cooked to perfection and always well seasoned. The mains are comfortably filling, and I highly recommend the celeriac for a refreshing change. The salad is always fun and interesting, and balances out the hearty mains - don't skip on this side! I believe all components are prepared in-house too, and you can taste the difference. The desserts are a perfect sweet treat afterwards, if you have room. There are always many vegan options, and none of them shy away from flavor. Reasonably priced, hearty delicious food, and supporting a local team. What's not to love?!

First time I ate here I honestly teared up at how good it was. No joke, it's well-spiced, tasty and whole some. I get the celeriac or the celeriac and chicken. Very very good. Lovely woman. Brilliant food.

So completely delicious. Everything weve had from here (and thats nearly the whole menu) has been superb - fresh ingredients, cooked superbly, with delicious, fresh flavours. A total gem.
