His distinguished work in the NHS made him far more appealing and trustworthy and, although I was desperate for the help, was conscious of the minefield that paid therapy can be. What I found with Luke is an honest, compassionate practitioner and family man. Not only do I credit Luke with helping me save my life but allowing me to grow and develop my own emotional resilience and awareness to become a better son, partner and friend.
Additionally, Lukes honesty throughout the therapy, which lasted the best part of 9 months virtually over Google Meet, allowed me to trust his judgement when he felt I was able to cope without his intervention: at no point did I feel he was considering the money, but only helping me. Naturally I was afraid to reduce the weekly sessions, but Luke was flexible enough to accommodate fortnightly sessions and reduce intervention that way.
I always feel as if he is there should I need him and feel that the door will always be open with him and The Couch. I would not hesitate in recommending Luke to anybody seeking help. He is a great practitioner, and an even better person.
