They always make sirens ring to help people know what's going on. The fire station is really close to the school (Oliver Goldsmith Primary School) so if the school had a fire ;the firefighters would be there really quickly and they would put the fire out in minutes. The Fire Station allows trips there every now and again it teaches children what to do when there is a fire. When you are in year six at Oliver Goldsmiths Primary School you will be able to go to the fire station again but not only learning about fire, they will learn about Zip Oysters crossing the road properly, Internet Safety and Pet Protection.
