Great kitchen but terrible after sales

So far we have been very impressed with Optiplan. The design process with Marcia and Zara has gone very smoothly with good input from them on design elements as well as style elements. We have been through several iterations but this has never been too much trouble. We now have a design completed and a surveyor visit booked in, so will update when kitchen is complete, but I would definitely recommend Marcia and Zara to anyone thinking of a new Kitchen. Update: Sadly the customer service experience following fitting does not match the sales experience, The kitchen was fitted week commencing 24th May and minor issues identified and reported at the time of fitting. It's now the 14th July and we are still waiting for these to be rectified. Despite promises of being called back we have found that they don't materialise and then when you chase you have to repeat everything as it doesn't appear notes are kept or read. As full payment was made prior to delivery and the fitter paid directly at the end of fitting it appears there is no incentive or urgency to complete the work. Although the kitchen is lovely, my experience has been tainted through the wretched customer service received so sadly I would not recommend Optiplan. Great design and customer service received from Marcia at the Optiplan Thatcham office. From initial contact to placing an order the whole process has been well managed with lots of ideas from Marcia after our initial conversation regarding our requirements. She was able to open the showroom to ensure a Covid secure appointment. Great service, highly recommend and look forward to the kitchen being fitted. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that the project is still ongoing!

Optiplan & particularly Marcia McGregor at Thatcham were recommended to me by 2 friends, who had both used the company and Marcia to design and install new kitchens. I wasn't disappointed. Marcia was an absolute star. She understood exactly what I wanted, made helpful suggestions, had a great eye for a much more efficient use of my space and far from any pushy sales pitch or upselling, her ideas actually produced cheaper options for me, which has meant I can now have a new boiler too! She's an open, friendly person, who inspired confidence, especially in someone who's never re-done a kitchen. Despite Covid, I was able to meet with her safely at the Thatcham showroom, which she followed up by a visit to my home, again following the rules, within days I had the plans and the computer mock ups, which were perfect, no changes required. I would highly recommend both the company and Marcia.
