Anchor - Linwood care home

Poor care , residents are extremely neglected and the staff who work there dont care about elderly people living there. All they care about is their pay check. High agency usage and safeguarding issues. It all looks good on the social media but reality is totally different. Staff who work there have been asked to review the home and give 5 star rating so dont be fooled. I wouldnt put my relative in this home even if you paid me. I am surprised CQC hasnt stepped in yet.

T.he staff at Linwood have been kind and compassionate in caring for mum since she moved in last March on the first day of lockdown. FaceTime calls and screen visits were facilitated as soon as possible and considering the pressures of the last year, they have been brilliant keeping everyone safe. We had a wonderful garden visit in the sunshine for her 90th birthday.

I have been a team leader at Linwood for 3 years this month, all the staff I have worked with are a great team, all the residents are treated with respect and dignity , the residents needs are all met , from their medications , personal care , meals ,laundry and well being , and most importantly to me talking to the residents , holding their hands , listening to their wishes and needs , and if needed speaking to the gp and other healthcare professionals about any concerns , and keeping the families updated , Linwood as a home has come on so much over the past couple of years , and Im proud to say I was a part of that.

I have been working at Linwood for over 2 years now, I enjoy my job and everyone is happy and friendly. Everyone has pulled together and shown great team spirit during the pandemic! Well done Team Linwood!

I have worked at Linwood for seven years as a catering assistant. it is a friendly and caring home. it is very busy and it can be a challenge at times.
