        I absolutely love the decorations of this place it has very nice daylight seatings. The food was okay but a bit bland on some of the dishes. The pistachio souffl has artificial taste and a bit too sweet and spongy. Grilled cauliflower steak was lovely with the crunch on the top. If the food tasted better it would have been perfect.

        Exceptional first visit to The Black Horse in Thame on a Saturday lunchtime in April. We were lucky enough to enjoy a table outside on a lovely sunny day. Lots of lovely seating areas giving lots of opportunities for secluded options or larger groups too. Food was fantastic and with a yummy sounding menu we will definitely be back to try it again. Thank you.

        Just come back from a fantastic Sunday lunch. I went with my son, his partner and their 2 year old son. I had the roast and the others chose from the Sunday menu. They offer 2 courses for 24 and 3 courses for 30. They also offer a child's menu which was very good. All the food was delicious and plentiful. I would happily go back. Highly recommended.
