        This is a charity shop which raises money for the Sobell House Hospice. It has been totally refurbished recently and the interior is attractively arranged. It welcomes donations of clothes, books, china and glass and a wide range of household items. It has a gift aid system operating which enables it to obtain a tax refund of the value of items donated by those who are paying tax. We have supported it for many years and have found some very worthwhile items for our own use.

        Once, I bought some spoons here that were in the 10p each pot but when I went to pay the woman said that they should have been 50p each. I would have happily had paid 50p each for them anyway, but I didn't like her attitude towards me.
