Autumn Years Care

AY cared for my mother in law until this summer, and has cared for her for about 7 years (could even be longer). My MIL lived right next door to us so I was able to work with and observe Christina and all the carers at very close quarters, before my MIL moved into a care home due to increased (nursing) needs. First of all, my general feedback, I found AY, whether Christina, the office or the wonderful carers who attended to my MIL to be a great source of advice/help to me personally and were dearly appreciated and highly valued by my MIL. I found them all to be very straight and very supportive, all working incredibly hard to ensure their client was well supported and getting the most from life. I met some big hearted and interesting people working as carers. And safeguarding wise, they always erred on safety, alerting us to the slightest change that might cause concern. Their support gave me peace of mind. Over the entire pandemic specifically, the AY team were incredible, never let us down and never passed covid to my MIL due to their stringent precautions. And the carers must have been so scared themselves. We are so grateful for their support and would not hesitate to recommend them. Heroes every one. So kind. And there seemed good camaraderie as far as I can see. Id cut these teams a lot of slack considering their sometimes challenging job, however rewarding, and the increasing cost of living. If you or a relative/friend are starting to need support at home in Thame/surrounds, then contact Christina as soon as possible. And lastly, I sincerely wish the local authority would pay carers more, these skilled kind professionals are hugely undervalued. Thank you all carers for your help, youre amazing x

Worked with Autum Years Care. Very disappointed with the disorganized management. Dont answer calls, empty Worked 2 months and hadnt even given contract to sign. No Id badge given. Even out of courtsey spoke to the manager/ owner of the company. Wasnt sure on days off would confirm 60min before start of shift and daily rotas were changed. Wouldnt djust visit times for clients to go out to church even when requested. Not client centred at all. Swore by sudacrem and didnt want carers to use anything else even when prescribed by Gp or DN.

I worked for this company for a few years and found them to be a brilliant company providing the BEST care to ALL of their clients. The owner Christina is a very friendly loving lady who always went above and beyond to ensure all of the service users have everything they need. All of the staff do an amazing job and deliver the highest quality of care to the service users.I would highly recommend this company to others.
