        New scheme bought out to tackle pollution and emissions - fine, I get that. Im all for helping the environment But when the scheme didnt take into consideration how much energy and resources used to dry the wood to under 20% is farcical!! Theres also no way of policing the scheme as theyve shopped the authority out to underfunded and understaffed local councils in case of a conflict of interest. Talking of conflict of interest, or should I say interests, Woodsure and HETAS working in the same offices!!! When chatting to a member of Woodsure staff she started talking about the protection of stoves, chimney liners and chimney sweeps. What does that have to do with the pollution and particulates? The scheme is for pollution, not how hard a chimney sweep has to work!!! Seems an agenda there!

        Adds nothing of value, simply charges an extortionate fee for a service of no value, infact negative value. Nothing more than a cartel taking money from small businesses and providing no gain to anyone but themselves. Avoid.
