6 month lifespan on straps - Spent a lot of money with Watchgecko over the years, a sailcloth strap failed quite early (4 months of wear, if that) but according to Watchgecko they only expect straps to last 6 months of wear. Woeful customer service, offered a discount code that was expired and didnt return follow up emails to rectify, they clearly dont give a toss, spend your money elsewhere with a company that appreciates your custom because these guys dont. This isnt so much about the quality of the strap, which was poor, but the p*** poor customer service that doesnt care. Spend your money with an independent that does want and care for your repeat custom.

Wanted a Milanese mesh for my Seiko SRPE77K1 similar to the OEM one (but more comfortable). Ordered one from Watch Gecko and was delighted with the quality and comfort (conforms to the wrist much better than Seiko's band). As expected delivery was fast and kept informed of progress all the way. Wouldn't consider using anyone else given how good the product and service is!
