I really love these mats. It sit at my Mac all day so they protect my floor (and make it comfortable for me!) I had the same Polymat (Ultimat) for over 7 years! It moved house with me twice. I callled the customer service team (I have the one without grippers). I called as needed to be sure it would work with my new house and new carpet. They told me that a gripper one would be bettter....but I lefft it...and the smooth mats do move a little on the carpet compared to the concrete and wood floors I used my mat on.
I have treated myself to a gripper mat after nearly 8 years with my old mat!, it was delivered through Amazon UK. In the past I bought cheaper Chinese ones from Ikea etc. but these Poly mats really hard and they dont smell of plastic.
