Well!! Where shall I start?? This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. A 3* hotel offering 4* accommodation and service. All of the staff are so friendly and nothing appears to be too much trouble!! This hotel is an Olde worlde hotel offering great value for money full of quirky little nooks and crannies and oak beams, we had a really lovely room (103) with a decent shower, it's ridiculous to review this but so many hotels don't give a monkeys nuts about the bathroom facilities. There was under sink lighting for night use.. brilliant!!! It has well thought out decor. The rooms are fantastic, the hotel is rated as 3* but you could easily think that you were in a 4* establishment!! The staff maintain the spotlessly clean rooms brilliantly. No quibbles here. A great breakfast menu, perfectly presented and delicious. Setting you up to explore the town. This hotel is one of those places where I really can't recommend enough. Perfect for a two night getaway. Not sure if there's enough to do in Tewkesbury for any longer. But I may be wrong. Tewkesbury is a great town. Busy but not busy, if you know what I mean!!

Rooms: Lovely, individually decorated rooms and cosy public areas. Nearby activities: Tewkesbury Abbey, river, restaurants, cafs and bars all in close proximity. Walkability: Historic buildings and alleyways, information leaflets and guides from tourist information centre. Food & drinks: Selection of mainly Indian restaurants.
