Premier Inn Tewkesbury hotel

Stopped here for one night to break the journey to Devon up. We got stuck in traffic so we missed our restaurant booking but this was rearranged by phone with no problem. Rooms were typical Premierinn, clean and a comfy bed. Shortly after we arrived went went next door to the Brewers Farye. We stood at the wait here to be seated desk, but no one came so we went to the bar. The girl behind the bar asked another girl to check us in so we went back to the wait here to be seated desk. It took her several attempts to log in to the lap top and eventually we were seated. After ordering, the food was served by an overly friendly (trying far too hard) member of staff and was of a decent standard. Dessert arrived in a similar fashion. We went to the bar to pay our bill and three members of staff were busy drying glasses......... we waited......... and waited a bit more. Once they had decided enough glasses had been dried one of them decided to take our money. But only after telling us to give her a minute while she disappeared behind the bar. Breakfast was a different matter, seated quickly, a quick run down of where everything was and that was all we needed.

Food & drinks: As a practicing Muslim I was served food containing pork in the month of Ramadan for iftar. After I asked for the food to be replaced I was made to wait for another hour only to be served the same chicken with the bacon wrapping removed. May whoever decided to do this evil deed get their punishment. Brothers and sisters spread this as much as possible
