I highly recommend Target Active, and in particular James. I started PT with James in preparation for my wedding, and I have gone from being very uncomfortable in the gym to attending classes and working out almost every day! Their response to COVID-19 has been amazing, their cleanliness is second to none. I feel very comfortable and have been very impressed with the measures they have put in place. They have a great range of classes before and after work and a great range of equipment.

Ive been a member of Target for a number of years. Its very well run by Dan and James. They work us to the best of our abilities in the fitness classes whilst maintaining an informal atmosphere. Its a very friendly place were like a family. Dan and James are doing an amazing job to keep us all safe since re-opening after lockdown. The place is kept so very clean. We keep our distance during classes and they provide antibacterial cleaning items for each work area. I cant praise them enough. Thanks guys for keeping us fit and safe.

Best gym by far

Target Active Fitness is friendly and fun place to train. I think you would be extremely hard pushed to find another gym where everyone is so friendly. There is no competition between people and everyone celebrates each other successes and achievements. There is no macho mentality and for me as a female I feel so at home training here. I have been training with Dan for many many years now, and has completely transformed me from somebody who wouldn't even set foot in a gym to somebody who can't wait for this weeks workout. Dan even helped me to complete two 10k run, running one with me, but sadly no more running for me. When I first trained I was a wall flower! dark clothing, very little confidence, self esteem and wouldnt even walk into the gym without knowing who was in there. Now, like I say, I love it and its almost like a second home! In recent years with injuries, the team and fellow gym goers have been so supportive and helpful on the road to recovery and getting me back to my weekly PT session and doing what I love. Please do not hesitate to use this gym. Dan, James, Joey and Connie are all great people. Over the recent months with the covid pandemic, they have worked their socks off to ensure the gym community could continue to keep fit in many different ways including online classes as well as still offering group classes. The gym itself is spotless. The equipment and rooms are throughly cleaned after every use and processes are in place to ensure everyone is safe and can train in an environment where any risks are very significant reduced. I now consider Dan not only my trainer, but now a great friend who I know I can ask for advice when it's needed. He always gives me the confidence boost that I need every now and again. My fitness levels have grown so much training here, and I have so much fun. Banter is a must, but just helps you feel more at home and comfortable. I have achieved so much more than I ever imagined with your help. Who knew just what I was able to do. With all your encouragement, support and advice, friendly banter and lots of laughter along the way Its been a total blast. Heres to much much more to come - JB x
