        Turned up, disappointed as closed for over 3 month's! Site still saying open as usual.

        First time here and it was absolutely lovely upon entering. Real nice welcome and shown to our table in the conservatory. I opted for the liver sausage & onions this was served with mash & 3 fresh veg, my 2 elderly friends had the home made steak pie with mash & veg. Very generous portions. We then had a pudding but be aware these portions are big enough for 2people to share ! I definitely will be returning and highly recommend. Booking is also advisable to avoid disappointment. Thanks to you all we had a very enjoyable lunch. Just need a nap now !!
