Showers and en suite in room.
Tea and coffee making stuff provided.
There is a cockrel, but to be honest I didn't hear it from the room.
Nearby activities: We went to Back2Bear which is about 15mins by car north. Archery/crossbows/axe throwing etc. Great fun.
Noteworthy details: We hired the whole pub, which I believe to be how it's normally open... Private bookings only, if you walk in asking for a pint check if the guys behind the bar look like a stag party.

people have moaned and complained in so many eays but this place is bang on!!
worked local and stayed here, the owner is a top bloke funny and welcoming, young lass behind the bar is helpful and a good host. food is homely and cooked by the owners mrs amazing burgers and plenty on the plate.
ignore the moaners its cosey traditional and comfortable, warm with the open fire and a good stay
