Ouch, ouch, ouch. 12.5% on my bill as a charge, and then they want a tip! My balls hurt. Kids loved the Vegan burgers, my ham hock , egg , and chips was OK just. But I have never had cold hollandaise, ever. Would of had desert, and come back again, but I doubt it now. Use to have Sunday lunch here twice a month for years. Sadly, post pandemic, has seen a rise in people who think they know how to do hospitality, well I am not sure. I have run a 150 seater restaurant and a nightclub, and I didn't have these issues. Use to be the best pub for miles, now she has gone, will have to start again.

What a fantastic pub, my boyfriend recommended it which I have to be honest made me slightly dubious. I went with a friend of mine to have a good catch up, neither of us had been before and we both really enjoyed it. The pub had such a great atmosphere, the decor was lovely, toilets very clean with luxurious hand soap and hand lotion and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We only went for drinks (good selection of drinks) so I can't comment on the guest rooms or the food but the food we saw going out to other tables looked great and those eating seemed very happy. It was lovely to see several very well behaved dogs in the pub, no barking at all so we were able to have a good chat which was exactly what we wanted. I'm looking forward to returning.

Bart - The Place & Pub Finder
First came across this place in the summer, large courtyard garden packed with drinkers listening to live music. Situated close to the old railway station on the lower fringe of Tetbury and only a 5 minute uphill walk into town If you decide to book a room the good news is its a downhill walk back from town and into your bed (obviously calling into the bar before you hit the sack) Rooms practical and an ideal venue if there is a group of you. Make sure one of your group guests rents the Oak Lodge room which will then serve as a pre dinner gathering location, plenty of space and a wood burner to play with. Pub appears to be well used by the locals, and the staff we met were outstanding Chef makes his own sourdough bread, breakfast very good (served in the bar just in case you hadnt had enough the night before) Large car park on the lower side of the road, can be reached in about 90 seconds
