Stargazy Fish Bar

Seems that the last owners / cooks left December 2021. Tried to ring an order, not possible. Not impressed with the food - seemed warmed rather than cooked, and chips were only just warm, there was no gravy available. The prices charged were higher than advertised on their website 30 minutes earlier. Difficult to say that I will return for another set of meals for our family.

Used to be a good fish and chip shop but after my last visits I do not think I shall be returning. After ordering online, I went to collect to find out that what I had ordered and paid for was not available, no effort had been made to contact me once the order had been accepted to let me know and amend the order.

Very poor service, never answer the phone for takeaway orders. Throughout Covid 19 they should appreciate the business in these difficult times, I understand that people would order and then not turn up for their orders take payment over the phone it's very easy. Maybe 2022 will be better definitely in need of some better management.

Absolutely disgusting!! After 12mnths of regular visits tonight was terrible. Peas had nit seen any heat- stone cold. Chips stone cold, fish warm. We went back in - pease cold with black bits in them, chips supposedly heated up were still cold, fish was hot but tasted of old fat and quite sickly. Hopefully this was a one off !!
