Amazing farm shop, everything there is awesome and as for the prices... why would you even bother too shop at a supermarket ever again when you can buy everything you need, at a much higher quality than supermarkets, at a fraction of the price? Their fresh fruit, meats, milk, eggs and veg is just delicious, their fresh bread and cakes are out of this world. Even their ready made meals and pies and puddings look heavenly with big portions and all taste like they were crafted in the farm house kitchens. They even sell too the local tradesmen and local businesses My advice is, give up the supermarkets and head too the Farmer's Farm Shop and you'll never want too visit a supermarket again. Deffo a 100 out of 100 from me and the wife. Can't wait to head back and buy more. Update: I've tried out their new caf thrice now and had a delicious snack and a mug of their extra awesome blend coffee (you got to try it too understand how good it is). Previously I tried their home made red pepper mushroom and veg quiche which was a thick hearty wedge, light, fluffy and incredibly tasty and too go, the lady who served me made it herself. I was really impressed by her enthusiasm and the tender loving care she had put into make such a delicious and one of my all time favourite savory dishes. I also took a local Korkers homemade bacon and sausage bap home for the wife who was delighted by how awesome it tasted. (She's the meat eater, I'm the veggie). I've also had a cheese and onion toasty and the wife had a cheese and ham toasty that was served with a garnish of really super fresh crunchy salad which was an awesome stop off snack and today i was lucky to get to sample their last veggie sausage roll served with a fresh crispy salad garnish and again it was just awesome, jumbo veggie sausage patty, pastry was savoury (see picture) it was just delicious. I was thinking it would have gone down well with a crisp dry white. Their coffee, locally sourced, robust and awesome as always, has plenty of oomph, and gives you that get up and go to continue on with your journey. I must ask if they sell it. I could definitely do with some of their coffee in the morning. The cafe also sells locally sourced cakes and tray bakes, veggies/vegans like me also catered for. Great idea by the owners to open a cafe selling locally sourced produce you buy in store to provide homemade high quality, excellent value food and beverages. It's a real rarity to have something that's not been ruined by supermarket corporate blandness and explotation so when you find a local paradise such as this in an ocean of Aldi's, Tescos, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Asda, Icelands & Lidi's you always buy from your local farm shop because its good, honest, tasty grocery that's a million billion miles away in difference and flavour to the often bland imported lackluster and poor quality goods sold at the supermarkets and you're not only cutting down your carbon footprint you're also supporting local farmers and businesses. Friendly helpful staff, local, no supermarket nonsense. Just perfect foods and veg. If your in the Maidstone area, forget the supermarket, get a bargin in locally produced and sourced grocery and then stop for a top tasty snack and beverage or have it to go at the cafe. You won't be disappointed. Trust me. 1000/1000.
