Rooms: Room 19 lovely views and quiet Nearby activities: It is very close to the town. The a bird sanctuary just a long the road from the hotel . They are more like Ironbridge village . You need to look at signs by there for things you like . Safety: This hotel is very safe from the car parking to inside The Hotel. There is a lake out the front, not deep, which got safely rings on pole. Walkability: There are some nice walks around there from front gates. Food & drinks: The prices are fairly good for hotel prices. A good selection of beers and wines. The food is good quality as well , you can have the food in the bar or in the dining room. Noteworthy details: There's not much to say about it.

Amazing place on paper website looks good showing you the main building and the rooms look amazing, service for breakfast and check in were great. Now for the down side, booked what I thought was a room in the main building, unfortunately got stuck out at the back of the hotel, and to make things worse after checking the room it was apparently a dog friendly room, the room was not cleaned dog hairs on the bed all over the floor and chairs and our clothes were coated in them, shower was blocked and walls were discoloured scrapped and all in all not what I expected. Told reception on check out and was basically told we were fully booked and the will take it on board. Really poor on the hotel not making me aware of it luckily I am not allergic to pets but this should not of happened. Will I stay again definitely not, even took pictures of the place but they just made me even more upset over what should of been a nice weekend away
