St. Edmunds is a beautifully proportioned, traditional style village church. It stands out atop the steep hill where Crown Lane forks into the main road through Tendring. St. Edmund's stands out most notably because of its elegant stone spire & the decorative stonework of its tower. The church interior feels light & spacious, with some very attractive stained glass windows. Outside, the churchyard is quite extensive & has some very old, moss & ivy-covered gravestones...
