The perfect campsite! Stayed for 3 nights at the bottom pitch in August '22. I love that there are a small number of pitches - so even if it is at capacity, you still feel like you have the place to yourselves. Campfires are allowed - although unfortunately we couldn't have one at the time due to drought and dry land. It was too hot for a campfire anyway so it wasn't an issue and we bought fresh food in nearby Tenbury (and also from the market in Ludlow). Compost toilets and showers are kept in really good condition and were just a short stroll up the hill from our plot. The honesty shop was so useful. The 30p ice pops were a god-send in 35c! The family that run the campsite are so friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning again soon. This is in my Top 5 campsites in England. PS: I visited the nearby Oldfields Cider Mill and was allowed to pop a bottle of their local cider in the fridge which is in the honesty shop. A cold, local cider whilst watching sunset by my tent = happy times!
