Had the greatest pleasure in inviting Paul and David to attend our Mental Health and disability day. Considering the topic, Paul provided an absolutely awe inspiring and emotional talk. His delivery was pitched as such a level that many people present commented on how it touched them and left them speechless. On the 5th Apr I hosted a charity ball in aid of the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance and MIND. We had a vision to have an after dinner speaker, our wish was to have a real person, with real life experiences. Having 1st met Paul Twitchell whilst deployed in 2016 and having a partial knowledge of his mental health journey I asked if we like to speak at the ball. He kindly agreed. From his first words he had the full audience gripped, everyone was literally capured and listened tihis every word. When Paul took a breath or a pause, you could hear a pin drop. His talk was honest, laying his journey down for all to hear, it was also funny, heart felt, inspiring and brave. Thank you.
