The whining reviews about queues prior to this take no account of this the being the only pharmacy that serves a huge development of several thousand new houses. The queues are due to demand, not any failing of the team that works here. Our experience is the complete opposite of those that have chosen to complain. Both pharmacists and staff are incredibly helpful and patient in dealing with the huge demands made upon them. They genuinely care about the people calling there and are exemplary professionals in my view.

Went to collect a prescription today, waited 33 mins for the prescription- during which time 4 people who arrived significantly later all given theirs. I Asked twice if there was a problem, 1st time said they would check but given no response, 2nd time, a minute later prescription arrived. Not happy with such a long wait.

Im not certain why there are any reviews above one star given the appalling service here. I have literally been sat in there by myself and had to wait HALF HOUR for prescription pills. I have also had to wait nearly an hour in dreadful queues. As someone who relies on medication I am appalled that it takes so long to prescribe them.

This pharmacy is fabulous. They go out of their way to provide an efficient, friendly, polite, caring service. They have a small room where any health issues can be discussed confidentially, and they listen empathically-this is particularly valuable as so many in our area cannot get timely GP appointments. The role of pharmacist has changed hugely, and they have to do more to make up the shortfall in GP numbers. This means despite having more staff they are often under pressure and this does sometimes mean a bit of a wait. Personally I think that's ok as someone's need is being met and mine will be similarly addressed! I've always found the staff to be really helpful. Unfortunately with higher demand for the meds I'm on and Brexit which has led to shortages they sometimes can't meet my prescription but they then spend time chasing it up..exvellent! Best pharmacy ever!chasing it, superior service imo. I can't fault them. Sadly sometimes customers fail to appreciate the pressures they are under and are a bit rude
