The Toybox

Booked to see Father Christmas at The Toy Shop in Ironbridge with my selective mute daughter and had the most awful experience. Father Christmas had absolutely no clue how to speak to a children and said to her its not that hard to speak. If only he knew that our Christmas wish was for her to be able to speak fair enough, he might not have experience of children with SEN, but I feel there are lots of anxious/shy children that will come to visit. It just goes to show having a real beard doesnt mean that you are the real deal. Edit: the response below shows how rude and awful their customer relations are. Basically calling me a liar and that my account isnt true Im so upset by this and I urge anybody with SEN children to AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!

This is one proper toyshop. Staff in there are amazing, helpful and friendly. Will be back.

Beautiful colourful roomy shop. You won't find a more charming toy shop anywhere! They have lots of beautiful wooden toys and I recently bought the most lovely wooden Noah's ark for my niece. The staff are really lovely and the prices are very reasonable. I collected the next day because I had visitors with me and was in a hurry and they had it all ready and packed up for me. Thank you Toy Box!!

The best toy shop I've ever visited. Children welcome to play. Lots of unusual toys to stimulate imagination. No plastic junk.
