One Month Update (approx 100 Miles driven) My wheels started to show signs of impact from stone chips - I expect this. However, the lacquer resistance to these impacts is like nothing I've ever seen before (based on other Alloy Refurbs I've had on cars in the past). Damage areas of approx 1/2 to 1 inch in size, see updated photos. On inspections from other professionals I have seen since, they describe this as lacquer flaking (breakoff) which can occur from various different issues in the application, or, in a extremely rare instance that I have hit an very abnormally large object something like half a brick or stone about +4 inch in cross section. A type of large object like that would be massively noticeable on driving and on impact, you would hear it. To add to this, my car is garage kept and only drives approx 4 miles a day to and from work. My car when parked at work is left under a Solar Panel carport, therefore the car sees little weathering or mileage, and during this period the town roads I drive were relatively normal. On contacting AA by email, I suppose all I was expecting was a common curtesy to at least offer to look at the alloy even if they came to the negative conclusion from my point of view. But instead I was told impact damage is not covered by the 12 month warranty and the lacquer used is to the latest ISO Standards. Lauren was direct in saying they were surprised that I was surprised this wasn't normal impact damage. Like most sports car owners my car isn't perfect although it is professionally ceramic coated. Yes, I do have some very large stone impacts that have caused the expected 3/4mm chips in the laminate/lacquer on both windscreen, paintwork and OEM alloys. Yet, to think inch break-offs is "normal" is still very surprising nonetheless. Therefore, I do worry about the longevity of these wheels before they need another refurb even based on my limited usage! I can't see me needing to do much mileage to get to that point either unfortunately. --- Original Review Can't fault the politeness, care and attention to both the customer, alloys and car on ordering & receiving the initial refurb alloys. Pricing is definitely on the premium end, and it will take 5 days to turn around your alloys, but I went here due to the reviews. Given 3 Stars purely on the colour matching. The service includes having "over 100 different paints in stock, so even if you have damaged only one alloy wheel, we can get a paint match to your existing alloy." Unfortunately I find this is very limited in terms of Solid Black. I do recognise refurbs will never be as pinpoint accurate as New Wheels produced by the OEM. But, it turns out AA only have one Solid Black choice which is RAL9005 - Jet Black. This is fine! But, I could easily compare the Alloys with a RAL9005 Swatch, as pictured, the alloys isn't really very close to Jet Black. Maybe it is RAL9004 - Signal Black or RAL9011 - Graphite Black? Generally I'm unsure what Solid Black I've got, but it's definitely not a great colour match to OEM and it is noticeably "grey" on direct sunlight. One of the wheels has red overspray that has clearly got under the masking.

I wanted to get my alloys changed from Diamond cut to gloss black, straight away on meeting Lauren, I knew this was the place to get it done. The wheels turned out amazing, they even gave me some spare wheels to get me mobile (subject to availability). The team are a well oiled machine, attention to detail and their carefulness is 100%. I totally recommend Amazing alloys and I will be returning to get two more wheels refurbished. Thank you Lauren and Callum for being great.
