Tilemaze

I bought a pack of tiles that was wrong and went back to return them the next day and the manager (tall dark hair) who was rude, arrogant and couldn't care less and i would suggest needs training on customer service and people skill as he stood there with his hands in his pocket and shrugged his shoulders saying he cant help me as they only return 20% of the purchase. I would say try topps tiles or tile choice. Much friendlier staff and better customer service. If i was the owner of tilemaze i would take a good look at who i had running my telford store. As i will not be going in there again.

Absolutely awful service. The assistant was extremely unhelpful. I will never recommend them to anyone.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Definitely worth reading the bad reviews on here before shopping at tile maze!! Made the mistake of buying extra adhesive that I didnt need and took it back to the store within 30 minutes of original purchase. Was told they dont do returns or refunds and the best they could do was buy back at half the cost. the items were untouched and in the same packaging and it was an honest error. The manager was arrogant and totally disinterested. Some of the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. ill be doing my best to make sure everyone knows not to shop here.

Luckily didnt purchase anything as the owner requested that we leave as we were awkward customers. Earlier in the day we asked to purchase a sample tile so that we could see if it matched a bathroom suite we were buying. We were told no and that we could look at their own selection of grey fixtures. We said wed rather buy a tile. The manager Dave again said no as it didnt often lead to sales. We left without the tile. We then went to our bathroom provider and borrowed a piece of the grey cabinet and the shower board and a wall tile and took it back to tile maze to see if the floor tile matched.. it did!!!! We were very happy and were just about to purchase when the owner Ian told us to get out and leave as he wouldnt sell to awkward customers. Both manager and owner were incredibly rude. Id leave a 0 star if I could. No wonder theyre closing this week. My advice is to go to Tile Choice or Topps where they want to help their customers.

Having bought kitchen floor tiles from the Shrewsbury branch of tilemaze in the past and having received great customer service, we went there again to buy some tiles for the bathroom. The tiles we wanted we're not in stock at Shrewsbury but they had them at Telford. So we went to collect them from the Telford branch. The customer service there was very different. The man that was rude, unhelpful and obnoxious. and had we not already paid for the tiles at the Shrewsbury shop I would have told him to stick them where the sun doesn't shine. Having spent 25 years in retail I have never come across anybody with such a poor attitude towards customers. The guys at the Shrewsbury branch could not have been more helpful, but I would not use the Telford branch again under any circumstances
