Excellent service! Contacted this company about a problem with my Solar Tempest Cylinder. An engineer arrived the next day at the arranged time and completed the necessary work. All the staff were friendly, efficient and kept me informed by text and email. Would highly recommend.

Cylinder leaked within 4 months of installation, caused damage to our clients cupboard. I have called Telford, who have asked for installation photos, water supply proof, commissioning page, invoices, service record, video of cylinder and photos...but in all honesty, I would rather leave an honest review as a builder who cares about everything, the last thing you want is a telephone call to say someone has a leak on a cylinder within 4 months, our own in house registered plumber did the install, not a sub-contractor, so I have no doubt of the quality of the installation, he is the best plumber I have had work for us in over 10 years. Certified Gas safe, vented and unvented, WRAS etc... I will not be buying a Telford cylinder again. Sorry Telford, but water does a lot of damage, you're not worth the risk.

Our Telford Tempest unvented 150l cylinder split at the weld and burst open after less than 12 months use causing damage to our house. Hot water was sprayed over the surrounding area and could have been very dangerous if anyone had been present at the time. Telford offered to replace the cylinder but refused to pay for removing the old cylinder or fitting the new one. The company advertises the cylinder as "Stainless Steel Cylinder ' with 'Long life stainless steel' but the internal cylinder is made from steel and is not stainless ; the scrap merchant verified this with a magnet. The company help line was polite but their description of the cylinder is misleading and their replacement policy is abyssmal. This is not the only case of one of their unvented cylinders bursting, read the other reviews and avoid at all costs !

Awful company would stay clear!! We moved into a new build property with a brand new Telford cylinder. ( Note - ) With up to date servicing etc. We have only been in the property 12m and we live abroad half the year so doesnt really get its full use. We then had a serve water tank leak which meant that the whole tank needs to be replaced. Unfortunately the builders hadnt registered it for warranty ( which wasnt our fault as the home owners we was unaware until this. ) Contacted Telford and explained the situation and I must note that Sean in the customer service team was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to try and solve the situation for us. However, other customer service representatives ( Elaine ) and the director himself was extremely unfair and unhelpful. Firstly the whole tank was agreed to be replaced which was great news and completely fair as it was a new tank and they are meant to have life time warranty. However they then decided to change their mind and take back the new tank as a pipe work was installed wrong. Please note, this pipe work which was wrong had nothing to do with the leak of the new water tank ( which their own engineer even confirmed ! And said that the ) and we even said we would pay for our own plumbers to correct this mistake as we wouldnt expect Telford to do so. Now being left to replace a 2k cylinder. Luckily wont be buying a Telford one again! And wouldnt advise you to. As not only do they have a life time warranty. You will have nothing but fights and problems with it!!
