The Foundry Masters House

Really nice stay, the rooms were cosey as you would expect from a victorian house but had everything you needed. The bathroom was huge in comparison and had a really nice large shower . The bed it has to be said was really far too comfortable and we had difficulty getting up in the morning. The owners were really nice and the breakfast was really good with cereal, toast and a cooked option which would have been rude to turn down. The parking was fine and maybe the directions in the room book about reversing in and leaving room for a car next door would be good in the booking notes on the web site as if they are followed you can easily get 4 cars in. Just a thought.

Rooms: Spacious and comfortable. Decor is great and very warm. Walkability: 1,400m walk to town or 15 mins. Food & drinks: Meals on request. Noteworthy details: Parking on site.

What a lovely B&B. Was up working nearby so only had a one night stay, but the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Lovely room, airy and big bathroom. The mattress was fantastic! I had a very long day and lots of driving so I was delighted when I sank into the bed. I had to miss the cooked breakfast due to a very early start, but Dawn had prepared me a takeaway breakfast bag, really kind and very much appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend.
